CinePacer Cut is a story-structuring and pacing calculator for directors, screenwriters, and editors. Lock runtime targets, stack shot scales, and watch tension climb — or stall — before a single frame turns expensive.
Sequence matrices, pacing readouts, and temporal math — the instruments editors reach for once the flatline already happened, now available on paper first.
Living boards where dialogue, B-roll pauses, and axis sides share the same clock — laid out shot by shot, not scene by scene.
Expose dense clusters and soft valleys in a beat sequence before they become a dead scene in the timeline.
Converts reading pace into delivery seconds, so a script page maps to real screen time instead of a guess.
Flags 180° axis crossings and shot-scale monotony before the set does — cheaper on paper than on the day.
Rehearse the pitch aloud, stress-test hook strength and retention language against the first five seconds.
Export the finished plan as clear notes for the room — for writers, directors, and editors alike.
Drop beats along the runtime, drag them up or down to set tension, and read the pacing shape instantly — the same math that powers CinePacer Cut's readouts.
CinePacer Cut is built as a local, offline instrument for story structuring, pacing calculation, and shot breakdown. This policy exists mostly to say, in nine plain sections, that there isn't much to say: we do not collect, store, or transmit your data. Everything — scripts, storyboards, sequence matrices, pacing readouts — is computed and kept on your own device.
CinePacer Cut collects nothing. We do not gather your scripts, storyboards, shot lists, timing entries, hook-test recordings, contact details, device identifiers, or usage analytics. There is no sign-up, no account, and no telemetry running in the background.
Because none is collected, none is used. We do not analyze your pacing data, do not build profiles from your projects, do not sell or rent anything to advertisers or data brokers, and do not repurpose your content for any reason whatsoever.
All script text, storyboard entries, sequence matrices, and pacing calculations are stored locally on your device, inside the app's private storage. Nothing is synced to a server we operate, because no such server exists for your content. There is no cloud backup layer built into the app.
CinePacer Cut does not embed third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. No project data is shared with outside services, and no third party has access to your storyboard or pacing files through this app.
Since your work stays on-device rather than traveling across a network, the biggest security improvement we can offer is simply not having a server to breach. Standard device-level protections (passcode, disk encryption) provided by your phone or tablet apply to CinePacer Cut's local files the same as any other app.
CinePacer Cut is a professional pacing and structure tool and is not directed at children. As we collect no personal information from any user, of any age, the app does not knowingly gather data from children in a way that would implicate COPPA, and no such data exists on our end to request or remove.
There is no account to manage because there is no account. Every script, storyboard, and pacing project lives in the app's local storage under your control. Deleting a project inside the app removes it immediately; uninstalling CinePacer Cut removes everything else, permanently and completely.
If our approach to data ever changes, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above before the change ships in an app update. Given the local-only design of CinePacer Cut, we do not anticipate that changing.
